Glass Container Annealing After Hot-End Forming
This footage captures the transition from hot-end forming to glass container annealing. Newly formed containers are still glowing orange as mechanical handling equipment removes them from the forming area, clearly showing the high temperature retained immediately after shaping.
The containers are then automatically transferred and positioned in rows on a wide conveyor leading toward the annealing lehr. During the subsequent annealing stage, the glass undergoes controlled temperature reduction to relieve internal stresses generated during rapid forming.
The footage provides a clear view of how hot-end forming, automated take-out, conveyor placement, and annealing are connected within a continuous glass container production process.
