Glass Jar Conveyor Before the Annealing Process
After hot-end forming, newly shaped containers need to move efficiently from the forming area toward controlled cooling. This footage shows a glass jar conveyor carrying large quantities of threaded jars across a wide transfer section of the factory.
As the containers move forward, they gradually spread into dense rows across the conveyor surface. This organized flow helps connect hot-end manufacturing with the subsequent glass annealing process without interrupting continuous production.
The jars are transported toward the annealing lehr, where controlled heating and gradual cooling can relieve internal stresses generated during high-temperature forming. At this point, the basic jar geometry—including the body, opening, and threaded neck finish—has already been established.
This transfer section is therefore an important connection within the glass jar production line, linking newly formed containers with the controlled annealing stage that follows.
