Tall Wide Mouth Glass Jar with an Elongated Body Profile
This footage shows a tall wide mouth glass jar immediately after forming, with residual heat still visible around the base and body of the container.
Compared with shorter, wider jar designs, this version uses a more elongated body proportion. The relatively straight side walls extend vertically through most of the container, providing a larger body area before transitioning through softly rounded shoulders toward the opening.
At the top, a broad threaded finish maintains the characteristic structure of a threaded glass jar while remaining well proportioned to the taller body below. The combination of a wide opening and extended straight sided glass jar profile creates a practical, familiar container silhouette commonly associated with food, sauce, preserve, and other packaging applications.
The forming close-up also highlights how changing height-to-width ratio can significantly alter the appearance of a relatively simple jar. For a custom glass jar, body height, diameter, shoulder curvature, opening size, and thread structure can be adjusted to create different container proportions for specific packaging requirements.
