Textured Wide Mouth Glass Jar with Molded Surface Details
This footage shows a textured wide mouth glass jar during hot forming, with both the finished container surface and the patterned forming mold visible in the same production sequence.
The jar uses a straightforward cylindrical body with a large threaded opening, but its surface adds a more decorative character. Irregular raised and recessed details extend around the body, breaking up the smooth glass surface and creating more varied reflections.
The opened mold reveals where this appearance originates. Decorative patterns are already incorporated into the patterned glass mold, with corresponding details visible across the internal forming surfaces. As the hot glass takes shape inside the mold, these features become part of the container body, producing a molded glass texture rather than a pattern applied afterward.
For custom glass jar design, this approach allows the mold to define both container geometry and decorative surface character at the forming stage. Opening size, body proportions, pattern distribution, and texture depth can therefore work together as part of the overall jar appearance.
