Wide Mouth Glass Jar with a Flared Opening and Rounded Body

This footage shows a wide mouth glass jar with an unusually curved profile immediately after forming, while residual heat remains visible around its base.

The most distinctive feature is the opening. Rather than using a straight threaded finish, the upper edge expands outward into a broad flared rim glass jar profile. Below the opening, the body quickly narrows before expanding again into a fuller rounded lower section.

These changes in diameter create a pronounced waist between the wide mouth and bulbous body. The result is a low, compact curved glass container with a softer and more sculptural appearance than conventional straight-sided jars.

The opened mold provides another clear view of this geometry, with the cavity reproducing the flared upper section, narrow waist, and rounded lower body directly during forming.

As a decorative glass jar, this type of distinctive silhouette could be adapted for confectionery, candles, decorative storage, floral arrangements, or other home and gift applications where the container shape itself contributes to the presentation.
